weeeeell, the fourth wasn't bad, not bad at all! We had good food, and good laughs. My wonderful best friend J and her mom came and so did my sister, who was in good shape, willing to talk with us, and I was able to get her to do more than just sit and stare at the TV. We sat outside while she had a cigarette and had a pretty good talk, almost like old times.

I was going to post a long blather about race and friendship and expectations, but I changed my mind. Instead, let me once again remind everyone that Mr. R is a BBQ god. heck yeah. ;)
