7/16/06 03:53 am (UTC)Lucas is just plain born wrong. Lol. I got straight from the get-go that he's just going to get more and more wrong, too (Wronger? Nah. Messed up. Definitely.) I loved the whole little conversation about virginity and Lucas clearly meaning something other than what Lex was thinking.
And then the whole yummy Bruce/Lex fun. Okay. back to reading more. ;)

ooh, nice rewrite of "Jitters."
Brave Lex. *swoons at him*
--
OH man. Clark and Lucas? That almost makes sense, but Lucas is just so twisted...
--
And of course, Lex gets the blame for the twistedness. Gee, 'dad', where's the therapists if you thought things were so bad? :)lol! I am arguing with your characters. :):) that is good!
--
Bruce speaks such truth: "I think that separating yourself from Lucas is going to be more difficult than you expect." Oh, the pain of that understatement.
Yay to the Brex! *sighs happily* And yay that he's coming back to the Castle. Not that it will help, I am sure, but I could be wrong! Mistaken! (I hope.)
--
WAH!"Clark couldn't shake the feeling that he'd lost something*...." oh owie, owie.
--
Grrrrr. Manipulative Lucas! Bad, bad to hurt my boy Clark! But YAY to Bruce getting a clue about Clark. Hmn, if Lex+Bruce=Brex, what is Clark+Bruce? Cluse? Brark? LOL!!
(mutters something about putting crazy-Lucas in a pit. And keeping him there forEVer.).
---
Loved this SO much: "Oh. Lex." Clark didn't know what to say, or how to act. He hadn't seen Lex since that embarrassing, and that was way too mild a word, incident at the castle. He grinned weakly at him. "I-I didn't expect to see you."ever again in this life."
Hope rises anew!

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
<--sound of me squeeing in amazement!
Oh twisted season finale. Darnit, Lana still didn't die. (oops, did I say that aloud?)
(See, told you I would spam you. Lol!)
Oh, twist the knife. Of course, Clark believes crazy-Lucas! Of course! Naive Clark *bangs head on laptop* must get clue.
Feh. I wouldn't believe Lucas! I'd look into those dreamy eyes and say, "Yes, Lex. Whatever you say. Whenever. However." (Hehe. You get the point.)
And just AUGH. But good AUGH:
"I see," Lex said. He watched the Castle until it was out of sight. He had the feeling whatever was left of happiness in his life he'd lost there."
And the ending felt so remote, so icy... you know that's what Lex is feeling.
Wow. Well done! So much makes more sense, now.

So, the next bit is clearer, yes? A few folks were mad at Clark for abandoning Lex, but I never think of Clark as being at fault. Naive, stubborn and hard headed, but not mean spirited. Poor Clark, he suffered just as much as Lex, I think.
You have made me happy as a happy thing!!!!
