I have 4000 words of Mariposa that I can't use because I think I really need to add an episode that seemed to me to be minor, but in order to help heal the rift between Clark and Pete, I need it. Crap. Clark is never going to get any...I can use this stuff later, I guess. Gaaaaaaawwwd this thing is going to be fat.

I think I'm going to drop a meteor on the town and put Clark on a bus--with a cardboard suitcase and a song in his heart--he's got dancing feet and he knows that the bright lights of Metropolis are waiting for him--the Big Nectarine! The Great Wide Way! All Dancing, All Singing! Why, if he can just get his huge foot in the door, he's got a chance! If he can make it there--he can make it--anywhere! He stares at his reflection in the bus window and grins at himself.. Yep, tomorrow he was going to wake up in the city that never sleeps…well, it did sleep—but it went to bed really really late and got up pretty darn early, you bet. Mrs. Kent's little boy was going to be a Star!

Don’t ask me…must be my misspent youth…

First you have me giggling like a fool about Mariposa (quite an image of Clark in a musical there! lol), then you tear my heart out, throw it on the floor, and do a jig on it with Live No Life! *wahhh* If Clark has some of his memories from "growing up", he should remember that he seduced Lex. Really, how long was Lex supposed to resist that?

Awwwww! *dusts your heart off and hands it to you*

For some reason, the image of Clark, big tall goofy kid in a tux and a tophat, dancing really badly but loving it is a weirdly persistant image for me. I have no idea why!
