Sometimes when you read a happy slash fic with babies and fuzzy teddies thrown in, you just want to write a story beating the hell out of the characters. Especially if there is sobbing involved. Or is that just me?

While I have to admit I've never had that feeling (No? Really?!?), I can see where it comes from. Particularly with particularly sweet and syrupy stuff ("Lex! Little Gaius just threw up! Isn't that adorable!").

If it's meant to be amusing, okay, but if it's meant to be a serious look at their lives with the thing, just no. N. O.
