a question. Which do you prefer, a short update--something around a thousand words or so--or a longer one, say more than two thousand? Does it depend on the subject matter? Just wondering. I noticed lately that my updates are getting longer and longer.
Me, I like a nice long update.

This icon is still, in my opinion, the best Clex short story ever. *G*

your icon - totally is the best Clex short story ever. *g*

Also, long updates are good, but sometimes it's hard to read them when I'm way behind and trying to catch up on the flist.

ok, see, for example - I thought you meant update as in update on stuff that's non-fannish, like a regular journal entry with no story.

Uh. Clearly, I'm way behind on my flist today.

If you mean update as in story update - honey, I'll take whatever I can get!

There is that too. I sometimes find myself skimming, and I have to go back and read again. When I do that, I'll set the fic aside until I'm ready to devote time to it. But that doesn't happen too often when I'm reading preverted RPS with a real cutsie name...*koffkoff*
