Ever do this thing where you comment in someone's journal and kind of lose it, praise-wise? Like maybe you might have gone just a weeee bit overboard? And they give you the LJ equivalent of backing off and surreptitiously checking out the exits? Pretty fucking embarrassing, isn't it?

Gosh, not that I've ever done anything like that. *koff* Not me, I'm made of cool.

Ahhh Roxy you made me laugh. Thankyou for this moment of sheer bloody cheerful embarrassment. I love that last line and I don't know why but I hear a voice. I'm sure I've had the same treatment from hugely dorkable over-exuberant puppy love comments I've left but I refuse to acknowledge the existence of such reactions...preferring instead to go along my merry way blissfully oblivious to all the not so covert, highly suspicious and more than a little bewildered looks and the scrabbling, frantic user profile views thrown my way.

you know, It sort of hits me at odd times, like getting out of the bath and suddenly, bam--'omigod, did you really say that?' oy...or right before I go to sleep all snuggly and comfy, there it is, bam--'hokey smokes, you realize now this person thinks you're a stalker--and since you didn't use spell-check, an illiterate stalker..."
