Geez, I miss John Candy. I miss Johnny LaRue so much. My sister had a frog puppet she named Johnny LaRue. I wonder what happened to him? We used to talk to him a lot--the frog puppet, not Johnny LaRue. Yeah, like that makes it less crazy.

Ah, holidays, they make me kind of maudlin. Folks are posting wish-lists and stuff and reminding me that Christmas is coming. Oy. This year I took a solemn vow not to go nuts, so wish me luck with that. Also, this year I let everyone know to seriously downscale their expectations as I'm not Rockefeller. I think everyone is happy with the idea. Now, what I'm going to do is teach myself to knit, and make presents for the Fam. I figure how hard can it be to learn, and with enough steel wool, I can knit everyone a car.

AHAHAHA. *koff*

SCTV still reruns all the time in Canada - I grew up on Johnny LaRue! Do you remember "Polynesian Town"? That was my dad' absolute favourite.
