I'm totally with you on forgiving Jake and still hating Bella... I pretty much loved Jake right up until he killed Sammy, but I hated Bella from the moment she showed up flirting with Sam in her black wig--the shooting was just validation.

I kept hoping against hope that Jake would walk away from it, with his big brown serious eyes...*unhappysigh*

If they'd given Bela just one instance of sympathetic behavior in the beginning I think it would have gone better for her.
