Do people who write Christian Kane in all those J2 stories even know who the hell he is? They screw him up almost as much as they screw up Michael and Tom. Very annoying.
I don't read a lot of J2 fics, but I do once in a while. I haven't read any that had CK in them, but I did just read one that had Tom, and I finally get where you're coming from. Tom's character was written as unintelligent, jealous, and a bully. I didn't get the characterization at all, especially as it didn't need to be Tom for the plot - they could have had an OC tall, dark-haired guy just fine. It was infuriating.
Thank you, thank you! Why folks just don't create an OC to massacre instead of Tom is a mystery to me, because if they have a flaming douchebag named Tom, they have created an OC. It burns me up every single time. My Thomas is *not* an asshole!!
