That was *AMAZING!* Clark...wow. What a *hero*! That just knocked me out. The look on his face! I *loved* this finale! I love the comic book look They've been using, to such good effect! That fight scene between Zod and Clark was so very much like the books I read as a youngster--there's an effect of color that you just can't get unless you're printing on newsprint. Anyhoo, that fight scene was beautifully choreographed and everyone was heroic as hell. And Tess can't be dead.

I don't care what anyone says, this was a good season, and I think next year can be just as good. Thomas just keeps getting more and more beautiful, it's almost creepy.

And in conclusion, I will accept no complaints or folks trying to tell me why I'm wrong to like it. I have spoken!

I really have only one complaint, and it's a minor one: that last shot. The whole "Jesus does the Nestea Plunge" shot was old when Sigourney Weaver did it in Alien 3, 18 (18?!) years ago, and all the Tom Welling in the world can't put the shiny back on it. Otherwise, I enjoyed it very much.

I actually caught the last ten minutes for the first time all season. It looked stunning. The special effects were incredible (lois being thrown into that phonebooth) and the fight between Clark and Zod at the end, and the amazing cliffhanger. Awesome looking show.

It was such a pleasure! Tomorrow, I'll have to rewatch the last few shows. This has been a really enjoyable season on the whole!
