8/3/10 03:00 am (UTC)What on earth is going on with youtube?
Do you get an error? I want to try and help...
Have you tried a different browser?
I'm assuming you're using windows since most of the world does, but even if you're not loading a different browser may help too.
I do tech support for an ISP in real life and things like this can be tricky. You may need to update your browser or even use a different one.
If you're on Windows and using an IE version other than 8, some websites have stopped supporting the earlier browsers. Try updating to that version:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/default.aspx?cachereset=true&WT.srch=1
If you're already on 8, try a different browser.
Google Chrome has its fans, as does Mozilla Firefox.
Those browsers also have versions that run on MAC computers, so if you're a Mac head one of those may work better than Apple's Safari browser. But Safari recently also had an update, so updating that might be helpful if that's what you're using.

8/3/10 02:02 pm (UTC)Try Chrome:
http://www.google.com/chrome
Of the two, I like it better than Firefox. I just don't like Mozilla's interface. It looks... chunky? I'm not sure it's the right word for it, and I guess it works okay, but I've had problems with it. (Have to use it for work and I don't like it much.)
But if you want to try Mozilla Firefox get that here:

8/3/10 08:39 pm (UTC)its not flash, and its not browser related, after all, I have tested it on all of them.
its also not the usual "sony blabala, not in your country".
its simply telling me I cant watch the vid, while other people can see it!
its sooo stupid.
the only way its been working for me, is to use a proxy:
https://vvd1.net/
put in the link of that youtube vid, enter the captcha, and enter the youtube link again, and its been working for me.
