all of it? there are software that can recover entire drives. maybe you can give it a try?

All of it! Mr R, my beloved, thinks that everything is pretty much toast. He thinks it was a virus, but he's not sure. I feel like it's my fault--I just don't pay much attention to it, you know? *sigh* I'm paying the price for being a techno-boob. :(

hmm, try pandora recovery just in case, if you want. i once crashed my system and lost everything, but then recovered everything again using that. but that was my brother... lol, i'm not that comp savvy either :)
or put up a list of what you lost maybe? i'm sure everyone will pitch in and you can get back some portion at least. just my thoughts *hugs*

Thanks, my dear! You're very kind, thinking about my lost stuff! you know the pain. I honestly don't even know what I lost--there was so much. My beloved thinks he might get some things back. *throws hands up* You know what? I'm not going to angst about it! *HUGS* Life goes on.
