SVBB woes and rambling

I'm having a hard time bringing any warmth to Lex and Clark's relationship in this fic. I'm still in the thinking stage, but no scene is popping into my head to build the relationship on. I'm having less trouble with the OCs than I am with Lex! Maybe if I skim through some of my older stuff, it will help. I'm so sorry that I don't feel the love as strongly as I used to...the hoyay doesn't come as easily anymore. I blame it on the shit ton of J2 stuff I read...*sigh* It's spoiling me for everything. All my ideas revolve around J and J, and I can't even write RPS--I tried! I suck!

Folks have suggested that I take prompts but I'm agoggle at folks that can do that--it's a skill I'm lacking. It takes me forever to get an idea rolling and then it takes a village to keep me from going on and on and on, somewhat like this post. Some of you remember stories I wrote about the Clex, four-billionity chapters that just kept coming and coming until it scared even me. Remember how we thought Brothers and Heroes would never end? That fucking ending just kept getting farther and farther way, until I realized that there was no happy ending possible. But this fic--damn it, I want a happy ending!! I envy the folks who have a billion words already--omg, bradygirl_12, you're giving me a complex!!!!!

Maybe it's the heat. SJersey is hot as a fucking pizza oven--so hot, there's not even any humidity and Jersey people know that's like a sign of the apocalypse. The air is still and thick and feels like you're trying to breathe through a wool muffler. Every time I sit down to write all my fat bits touch and get all sweaty and...wait, where you going? TMI? Cowards! I haven't even got to the part where my flip-flops swivel around on my feet 'cause they're so sweaty. I share because I love!

Next time, I'll share something fun and not sweaty, promise! :)

Oh, I absolutely haven't forgotten this! Things are crazy hectic at home right now, and I'm working like a slav on the SV BB and my SpN minibang, plus whipping a fic into shape that I've been dying to post for almost a year now, sadly SpN....*G*

Stupid SpN boys. I don't see what's so damn hot about them anyway - it's all just superficial looks and fluffy demon killing thingys. So what if they're a little on the cute side...

But Lex, man, he's got that whole "I'm a badass MF'er" with a great big Clark-sized soft spot. And our Clark is a pretty big soft spot, sporting some size 14 shoes - and you know what they say about men with big feet!

Gaaaaaaaaah. It was 105 here yesterday, and the humidity was like a freakin' sauna. Heat index was probably 110 or something. OMG, so awful.
