I fell off the earth for a minute, but I'm back! I rewatched Show to see if I missed anything and it was even more awesome the second time around! Don't judge me but I'm feeling the Benny/Dean so hard! Which means that Benny's going to turn out to be a back-stabbing, stalker/user, blood-sucking monster out to wreck Dean's life.

I'm off to respond to comments I've received, and stalk other folks LJs for their Show Watch Feels. Whooo-ha!

I wish I'd thought to tape it, so I could rewatch it. Such an amazing show. I really did like all of it, except for the Cas thing. As someone else said, I'm tired of the 'he's dead, no he's not' back and forth. I had the same problem with the 'on again, off again' relationship between Clark and Lana in Smallville, and that same sort of wishy washiness storyline in many other shows. It just gets boring, after a while, and stretches my suspension of disbelief too damn much.

That aside, I still love the hints of Dean/Benny and Sam sidelining himself (I think there is more to that story, but I've never been the biggest fan of Sam, so I wouldn't mind if it was just the way it appears, either). I loved that the Impala is back, too, and that we still get my favorite demon - Crowley.

Maybe my standards are low, especially reading the other comments, because I really enjoyed all seasons of Buffy, and some of my favorite episodes were in season six, and I loved, loved, loved the Finale, and Buffy's solution. I was never a fan of the spin-off, but Buffy I enjoyed from start to finish, and was totally impressed with many, many different aspects of the writing.

But, I watch these shows to be entertained, so if they do that for me, then I'm good. So, maybe it's not that my standards are low, but that I'm easy. *g*

CW has it up on their website if you don't mind watching shows online. :)

I really was not a big fan of the It Eats You From Below season whatever that was. (Was that 6? I suck at remembering.) Buffy was so humorless and so beaten--a lot like Dean got. Even if I wasn't a big fan of the season, I still loved Buffy, because Buffy, I swear to god, saved my life.

But, I watch these shows to be entertained, so if they do that for me, then I'm good. So, maybe it's not that my standards are low, but that I'm easy. *g*

Me too!

I don't know if that was six, or not. Probably. But season six has some of my favorite episodes in it - Once More With Feeling and Tabula Rasa. I also liked Dark!Willow, and I enjoyed the Buffy/Spike relationship, because of all the psychological angst. In fact, I guess the psychological angst was a theme throughout the season, and one of the biggest reasons I liked it.

"From beneath you, it devours" is Season 7 referring to the Hellmouth, but both 6&7 we're pretty big on the humorless and beaten Buffy. It's very likely that returning from the grave resulted in her being clinically depressed and she was pretty lacking in a support system... They were very angsty and depressing seasons.

That's very true. Even if I wasn't a fan of the season over-all, there were brilliant eps in it. I still think it was one of the very best in the genre.
