I was just telling Mr. R how privileged our generation has been to have grown up with so many genuine heroes. One died today. Nelson Mandela was an inspiration to so many of my generation, and hopefully to the young folks today.

So, so true--without them, where would we be? It takes a special kind of courage to act on one's beliefs.
