3/8/14 01:13 pmWe were going to breakfast this morning. Pulled the car out into the street and got bumrushed by turkeys. They puffed up, raised their feathers and gobbled threats at us. Oh, I know a "fuck you" when I hear it, no matter the language. Or lack of. It was that look in their beady little turkey eyes. I rolled my window up, locked the door and cussed them turkeys out. Hell yeah.
What is this world coming to when you can't have a nice breakfast without being threatened by thuggish poultry? Is this America?
Thanksgiving's coming around again, turkeys. Just sayin'.

3/9/14 05:15 am (UTC)I have a military unit of turkeys living in my garden currently, but they are far too nervous of humans to make any kind of threat.

3/11/14 12:00 am (UTC)Why is your neighborhood full of turkey gangs? What did you do to gain their ire? Is there a special police task force for that?
This narrative is missing some plot points woman!

3/11/14 12:33 am (UTC)The wilderness is encroaching on our suburban paradise!!! The corners are full of renegade turkeys, smoking and drinking and cursing at the humans who have the nerve to try and walk across their block. We were innocent by-drivers, minding our own business!
We used to just worry about the people with their home businesses, selling recreational substances from their front yards. There was a guy who sold out of a little Suburu exactly like the car I used to drive. Now that made for interesting moments, I tell ya. Nothing like getting flexed on by poultry, though. Now, we have turkeys with attitude. Sort of a TWA thing going on.
:D :D :D
