Call me a fool, call me crazycakes if you want but I loved this ep. Probably not the way they wanted me too, but it was completely fascinating and I feel rejuvenated--they still love each other--so much!!! So much bitterness, so much loved turned upside down.

I was happy that Clark got him some. Actually, happy as I was that Clark got laid—hey, I'm happy for anyone getting the good--but that was pretty stupid, really. I think canon established that Clark and Lois get it on with no problems and by the looks of it they get it good. This sonic boom business was the writers inner asshole little boys coming out to play. It took AliemBoy a long time to get the hint too. Me, I would have been all, "You're super? Thank fuck! Strip. Bend over." But that's just me.

It galls me beyond all belief that Clark takes Lionel into his confidence--it's stupid, it's as if the boy doesn't have a brain or an ounce of self-preservation. (Hello, SV? Being good does not equal dumb) Personally, I think in a way that Lionel warning Clark was just his version of screwing his son's woman again.

Lex, Lex Lex, I liked you in this ep. You looked gooood. You were hot. The scene where Lex confronted Clark in the farmhouse? Oh my--spit, rinse, repeat. *That* my dears was classic hoyay, even if it was turned on it's ear…and pretty darn hot even so. I took the kiss as misdirected passion. I know who he was thinking of. *nods*

As far as my girl, Hamsterina, I'm telling you, that crazy bitch is not Lana. I'm not even talking Clona--she seemed too OOC to me, almost as if I was writing her. There was nothing in her character up to this point that indicated to me that she'd behave this callously at all, unless they're finally admitting she's some kind of mutant and now it's Crazy Time. I don't like her, but still—they didn't seem to be building *this* kind of person at all. Does being mildly self-centered cause you to get like this? Is that what they're trying to say? Lex has always been self centered (though on him it was cute and consisted mostly of spoiling Clark because it made Lex feel good) and he's Evil. And now, Lana seems to be Evil. Only Clark is good and he always puts others first. *koff* I know right? They're ALL self-centered. Ah well. Some one who is smarter and more articulate than Yer Mother will sort if out for us, thanks goodness.

Anyhoo, loved it. I know, it might not seem like it, but I watched it real time with my chair turned to the TV and not the keyboard, and my mouth may have been slightly open, well, 'cause I was talking to the set and this time I wasn't screaming die bitch die meaning the whole show....

Geez…Lois was really fun and funny, and hey--better looking. Fuck, I think all the birds in my neighborhood just died and the moon is bleeding.....

I enjoyed this one too! My favorite part was the whole Clex subtexty confrontation where Lex says, "It's hard to look at what you created, isn't it?" And Clark was totally looking at Lex. HoYay! The whole Lexana confrontation was pretty fun too, because I need that kind of stuff for a vid I'm working on. More violence!

Editor boy is just fucking annoying. Tonight he added creepy to his acting repertoire. Erk! Hate him! But other than him I really had fun with this ep.

SPN was fun too. "You stink of sex" HA!

The whole episode said, "see what you've made do, see how you hurt me?" from the both of them. I can totally read the Lexana kiss as actually belonging to Clark. Last couple of eps Lex has been telling her, get over yourself, you're my Clark substitute, and I'll bet Clark keeps asking her to shave, like, all over...that's why she's so pissed at Lex. She's not saying anything to Clark because he has the candy. *nods* No, really, it's just like that. :)

And I *hate* Editor boy. Hate!!

Hamsterina? *giggles madly* heheheehhehehe

I don't know what they have planned for Lana or anything, but I'm renaming this ep "SuperBitch". Seriously, I can not buy Lana as evil. I think it has more to do with KK than Lana, but... :P DIE LANA!!!!!!

K. Feel better now.

CLEX LIVES!!!! :D And Lex was just totally the SEX! Clark was pretty too. :D

And Chloe threatened Lana! WhooooHOooooooo!!!! :D

Oh, I very much enjoy her being evil, even if it's more Evol Lite--My Litle Evol Pony, rather than menacing.

Chloe got quality screen time and Clex was abundant! Good show!

I think they're doing evol!Lana because people who despise normal flavor!Lana tolerate this one a bit better in that she's at least a bit more entertaining & that the evol isn't totally in their heads and Lana fans find it hot when she's going around messing with Lex, Lois and being bitchy towards Clark.

I wondered what her fans think of this development. Many people seem to love her being evil, though mostly, I think the character played this way just makes KK move her face and body a little more and that's what makes it seem interesting.

Honestly, they blame Clark for not loving Lana NO MATTER what she does. I'm seriously not kidding. They blame everybody but her for her behavior. (apparently Chloe's EVOL for figuratively slapping her hand)

My major problem with the whole Lana being angry with Clark being in love with her "image" than her is that I really think that she helped built and maintain that image and used it when it was convenient to HER. She wants what that image gives her but wasn't willing to live up to it. She wanted things both ways and I wish Clark had called her on that aspect of the problem.

That's pretty darn strange of them. But no stranger than the folks who think Lex is totally blameless for his problems, or the ones who think Clark is a saint.

I think I have to agree, Lana did depend on Clark worshipping the ground she walked on. the vibe I got from her was that Clark was always going to be there as her fallback.

I seem to be getting into arguments with people over this episode, so all I'm going to say is that I liked it in that the characters all had good, constructive conversations with each other, mostly about how Lana is really evil and Clark should move on. And I liked the continuity with earlier episodes. And Lana being possessed is more entertaining than Lana being annoying.

Not the world's best episode, but given the framework within which it had to function, it wasn't too shabby. And there was plenty of CLex. The most important thing? I wasn't bored.

I was very much not bored this ep, not for a second. God knows I find her annoying but this ep worked more in her favor, plus, the Sleeping Giant (or, Clark's Brain) is finally starting to wake up.

I really was digging the Clark/Lex scenes. Especially when Lex is talking about how obsessions are more powerful than even love...and he's giving Clark that intense look. Good grief...*dizzy sigh* that's the stuff I like to see. *giggles*
And yeah...the SUPER SEX (heroic porn music plays in the background)...that gave me the giggles. It made me think of the scene in Jurassic Park where they're looking glass, and the water shakes. ROFL. Just think...people in Metropolis are all trying to finish their darn jigsaw puzzles...sooooo close...down to the last piece, and Clark reaches the summit.
Oh dear...

Hated the super-sex, but I did love the confirmation that they hadn't been having any up to now. And I didn't find Lana's murderous sadism as all that out of character -- she just seemed to me like Lana feeling utterly free of any social restrictions. Unfortunately, I am certain that AlMiles are going to find a way around this and have Lana resurrected as their Perfect Fairy Princess, blameless of everything and adored by all. *throws up*

Lex was wonderful. And he's still trying to save the world! Too bad the BDA shattered the glass and let Brainiac out....

yeah, the glass thing was a little weird, and did nothing to help me figure out just how badly what amount of GreenK affects him. It took me a second to understand what he was doing. Heh. Clark. Drama queen.

Yeah, I liked that Clark finally did get some. When you think about it, it's kind of crazy. He's 20 and he's just...can never get laid. How does he deal? He was still reluctant to try until Lana literally pushed him against that post.

I love that Lex is so comfortable in Clark's house, and not only that, but watching him if you recall the p.ov. shot before Lex showed himself. Hot. Ditto Clark still comfortable in Lex's mansion and not even being walked in the last two episodes.

It galls me beyond all belief that Clark takes Lionel into his confidence--it's stupid, it's as if the boy doesn't have a brain or an ounce of self-preservation.

But they've all but literally conflated Jor-El and Lionel now (actually they literally did in Hidden, which commenced Lionel holding the key information for Clark since then). Clark's literally been forced, in the last two seasons, to go to Lionel for sensitive information and extraterrestrial issues that only he (or Martha and Chloe) can help him with. And Lionel has been all too willing to help. Lionel is not "good", nor is he flat out evil at this point; he's no longer at either simple extreme. Clark is going to have to make alliances or have detentes with people on different moral planes in order to get things done (he learned that wrt Ollie, and recently demonstrated a willingness to continue a detente with Lex in Action). I don't think it's stupid considering the build up the last two seasons or from a pragmatic perspective (as long as Lionel doesn't devolve back to S3!evil-Lionel).

About Lana...I really wonder, especially in light of the blatant Lillian parallel last ep (who seemed to have post partum psychosis) and Lionel's "disturbed" comment, if they're going to go with the insanity route, because of the hormones that were pumped into her. Because it *is* a radical change, which is why I didn't fault Clark and Chloe for not jumping to crazy ass conclusions about her (because they are CRAZY ASS leaps relative to who Lana used to be).

Maybe I'm reading too much into the glove thing. Maybe that was just a throwaway, but in my conspiracy filled mind, I thought it was a warning. *G* Can you tell I was an X-Files fan? Nice bit this week, with Lionel exercising his hand, I thought. Very different than instant healing from a gunshot to the knee or whatever other damage a character sustained in any ep ever.

Oh for serious? I watched X-Files but sporadically as I didn't have my own tv back then; what does the hand exercise symbolize? I noticed that but chalked it up to how the Luthors are typically so kinesthetically expressive. Massaging everything. Stroking everything. Rubbing things. Pool cues. Balls. This is getting dirty so I'll stop. :) Buit that's a good point that this broke the usual pattern of everyone instantly healing. Lionel's in an interesting place right now, where he can swing either way. He did just beat a woman to death without remorse and had forced Lana into a marriage knowing about the baby plot. It's like every so often they'll remind us the MB still lurks in between the advice to Clark and Lex.

Oh man, I was so unclear there--forgive me, this seems to be my woolybrain week. I only meant that it was interesting that the writers remembered that Lionel had injured his hand, was wearing the glove to cover the injury (i assumed) and then, was exercising his hand( the rubber ball thing) instead of suddenly being cured--like when Jonathan was shot in the leg and we never saw a bandage, or rehab or even a limp....also, it was just entirely weird to see Lionel wearing the Black Glove of Evol that Lex supposedly will end up wearing one day. That just caught my imagination. And let me apologize for the rambly nature of my answer. I'm just having one of those...months. *G*
