I always click. No matter how big the warning, how full of exclaimy points or DEEP SERIOUS TONES OF WARNING or giggly little " oh gosh, me, i'm just so naughty", (and then person proceeds to make me scream for the brain bleach) I click. Even if it's something I'm pretty *sure* will make me gag, I click. I've had moments that I've ripped my glasses off and yelped, 'oh fuck me', and I STILL CLICK.

You know why? 'Cause I swear to gawd, I'm the nosiest bitch in the world. My family crest should be a weeping eye over a hopeful little rainbow, and underneath, a banner inscribed with, "oh, how bad can it be?"

This being nosy...it can be a blessing--I've found wonderful fics through being nosy, or taking a chance on something way different than my usual. But oh lord, sometimes...gaggo!

Yeah, so when I click on traumatic things, I totally blame myself. After all, I'd been warned.

LOVE your icon!!

when someone on my flist (which is remarkably free of wank) mentions a negative thread or meme or some other deliciously wanky stuff, but they won't go into detail about it because "if you don't know already, then you don't want to"

Oh, me, you have to know I *never* reveal what I'm bitching about or am in fear of! But this particular fic that set off this little mini-rant--which I stress, I didn't read all the way through--or at all really--seemed to be about sex with a family pet. I have no idea whether it was meant to be amusing, or meant to be for real, because oy--I was too cowardly to find out!

It's not really all that often I'm appalled by subject matter--mostly it's the writing that freaks me out.

OMG, [livejournal.com profile] apreludetoanend and I were just talking about those today! I think it was prompted by that kink meme, yes? She had written a mild watersports fic for it also and was kind of freaking out that she'd crossed the "watersports line", because that's apparently still on the outer frontier of kink or something and we got to talking about bestiality. But I said, just as with the watersports, I could imagine someone writing Harley/Jensen well enough I could read it.

BAD WRITING...the FINAL FRONTIER OF SQUICK

oh man, I gotta say, there's nothing in this world that would make me read Harley/anyhumanbeing, ever. I'm pretty damn sure. 'cause I thought "watersports, ew, yukie" and yet I read her story tonight and was kind of pleasantly surprised. Mind you, I don't feel like that when *I* have to pee, but it just goes to show, you never know. Of course, I have a tendency to read some folks stuff no matter what they write. As long as it doesn't involve dog fucking. My line as of today and in the foreseeable future. Which used to include fleching which still, pretty much ew, but have actually read some stories here and there and thought , "hmm, hot."

And I once read a story about Oz and Lindsey, I think it was (BtVS and AtS) having sex while Oz in werewolf form...does that count as bestiality?

(you have the best icons ever!)

Um, yes and yes. Doggy porn is beyond the pale, but I am in LURVE with all of my icons and I sling them around wit complete abandon. Oh and yeah, Erin's work is always worth a read and the story behind that one-she can barely read porn, can write thousands of words of J2 and that culminates in nothing more than a kiss and then decides to write watersports? I blame this fandom's superpowers of corruption.

*nod nod*
Not even SV in it's heyday was as corrupting!
