I always click. No matter how big the warning, how full of exclaimy points or DEEP SERIOUS TONES OF WARNING or giggly little " oh gosh, me, i'm just so naughty", (and then person proceeds to make me scream for the brain bleach) I click. Even if it's something I'm pretty *sure* will make me gag, I click. I've had moments that I've ripped my glasses off and yelped, 'oh fuck me', and I STILL CLICK.

You know why? 'Cause I swear to gawd, I'm the nosiest bitch in the world. My family crest should be a weeping eye over a hopeful little rainbow, and underneath, a banner inscribed with, "oh, how bad can it be?"

This being nosy...it can be a blessing--I've found wonderful fics through being nosy, or taking a chance on something way different than my usual. But oh lord, sometimes...gaggo!

Yeah, so when I click on traumatic things, I totally blame myself. After all, I'd been warned.

omg--I didn't even read it I was so freaked out! I read the header and thought, naaaaaaaaah, can't be--clicked on the fic, scanned it and yes,I think it was. I didn't actually read it though, so I could be wrong but I don't care, not double checking! It might have involved a family pet, but god, don't make me talk about it!(It was in the SpN fandom--the fandom of pain. ;))

Yes, you are undoubtedly nosey, hon. But focus on the good stuff that's come from your persistence, nagging and goddamned!cat-curiosity, and forget about this case of terrible!fic. I've come across a *lot* of crap, and my method is to stat, scroll down my bookmarks onto the first good story I find. *shrugs*

Just inhale some sugary goodness, and you'll, hopefully, wipe that ass-y vinegar right off your reading palate. (Yes, I am feeling weird tonight. *raises eyebrow* Is it wrong that I'm reading Harry Potter slash. . . and really, *really* liking the hell out of it? *ponders*)
