I'm sharing this with you because I couldn't tell anyone in real life without having to explain way too fucking much. But the other day, one of the SpN comms had recs for stories involving pony play. At first, I was confused as to why someone would want to write, let alone read stories about My Little Pony. Even as I was trying to picture Jensen or Dean or Sam as a little pony, understanding hit me like an icky wave of ewwwness. And then...you know how I have this thing where I click on links that promise nothing but deep psychological pain? Yeah. I'm too nosy for my own good....

It was *worse* than that--those stories were kind of...*koff* Interesting, yes, that's the word I was searching for. It didn't help that they were awfully well written, and made a kind of sense that made my brain spin in my head, because I don't *like* stories like that usually. Even if it's not supposed to, those kind of stories still feel dub-con-ish to me. But lawks, rending of garments included, I liked them. Very much. *blushgrimace* Hunh.

Now I just want to laugh at myself. ;) SpN, how you've broadened my horizons. How I don't intend to let anyone know how broad--until of course, I drop dead in the supermarket one day, and when they're going through my stuff to donate to the Goodwill, they find...my other stuff. (note to self, leave enough money so that everyone can afford decent therapy. Oh, and request that Big Bertha be gifted to the Smithsonian.)

The internet + fandom = people reading weird stuff at 3AM and finding it... interesting, to say the least.

Right?? It's a constant journey of discovery, oy!

Come to think of it, in the story I was reading, Jensen was the pony! I wish I could remember the writer--the link took you off site. I will find it for you! It was very good, but then, I enjoy my stories marinated in angst--but only if it's well-written angst. I have standards. *nods*
